Although your application is “complete,” I still need to collect some information for review. Your land
use application states that this application is for “elevated storage sheds to be used as a carport,” however
you do not mention the distance you are requesting relief from. As you are aware, the minimum street
setback is 25 feet and setbacks are measured from the property line. How far from the south property line
is the existing carport? Please provide me with this information in writing as soon as possible so I can
continue to process your application. Page 1 of 8 shows the distance from the “white line” to the SE
corner of the shed is 20 feet. It also shows that the distance from the white line to the telephone pole is
7.5 feet. I will assume that the distance from the carport to the property line is 12.5 feet unless I hear
otherwise. If this is not correct, please provide me with the actual distance as soon as possible. Thank
you.
