Jen,
As a follow up to our phone conversation, Shell does not plan on attending the City of Edmonds Architectural
Design Board Meeting on 9/17/08 due to the fact that Shell's attendance will not provide any more additional
information to what was already submitted in the application.
As we discussed, the simple and sole purpose of the tree removal is to help address the neighbor's (Lynnwood
Honda) concern regarding the tree debris falling on their lot. Without this concern, Shell would not pursue the
removal of any existing trees.
I wanted to give Honda the opportunity to possibly attend the meeting so they may directly state their case for tree
removal since the reason was initiated by them. I attempted several times to get a hold of Erik Nelson (Lynnwood
Honda contact), but I have not received a return call.
Again, it is Shell's request for the Board to approve the proposed application without any additional conditions in
order to do the 'neighborly' deed of addressing Honda's concern.
If you have any other questions prior to the meeting, contact me on my cell phone @ 2064230143.
??
Thanks for your consideration.
