Jen -----Original Message----- From: Machuga, Jen Sent: Monday, June 22, 2009 5:21 PM To: 'Darrin Mock' Subject: Planning Comments on BLD20090325 Hi Darrin, In order for the Planning Division to approve your building compliance permit for your ADU at 21100 88th Place West (BLD20090325), an ADU covenant must be recorded with the Snohomish County Auditor's Office. Please review the attached covenant and make sure that I filled in all of the information for your property and spelt your names correctly. You may print it out yourself, but it will need to be printed on 8.5" by 14" legal sized paper and you'll need to make sure that the margins are printed correctly (3" margin at the top and 1" margins on the sides and bottom). I will put a hard copy with your building permit file if you'd like to come pick it up instead of printing it out yourself. You mentioned that all three of you would be able to sign the document before a notary together, so I put only one line for the date. Please sign the document in black ink before your notary, and please be sure to keep the margins clear of any writing or your notary's stamp. Once the covenant is signed and notarized, you may either record it yourself at the County Auditor's Office and submit a copy of the recorded document to us, or you may submit the signed and notarized covenant to us and we will record it with the County for you. The County currently charges $42 for recording (increasing to $62 on July 27th). If you have us record it for you, there will be an additional $15 processing fee.
