The City is concerned that your leased business suites located at 22315 Highway 99 in Edmonds have equipment connected to the drinking water supply without proper backflow protection. Examples of equipment typically found include: dishwashers, hoodwashers, air conditioning systems, fire protection systems, boilers, post -mix beverage machines, etc. Pursuant to Edmonds City Ordinance and Washington State Code requirements, the City of Edmonds requires a backflow prevention assembly to be installed on the main domestic water service to your complex. A Reduced Pressure Backflow Assembly must be installed on your service line next to the water meter for premise isolation. Please have the Reduced Pressure Backflow Assembly installed within the next 30 days from the above date of this letter. If you need additional information or have any questions regarding this matter, you may call me at 771-0235, extension 1644.
