Your land use application is considered complete; however, responses to the following items are required before
review can continue:
Please review and respond to the attached comments from Jeanie McConnell, Engineering Program
Manager. For your convenience, I am including the Traffic Impact Analysis Requirements handout that is
referenced in Ms. McConnell's memo. If you have any questions on Ms. McConnell's comments, you may
contact her at 425.771.0220.
2. Thank you for your statement explaining the changes proposed to the existing preschool. However, in
addition to the information provided in your statement, a criteria statement describing how the proposed
changes to your existing Conditional Use Permit meet each of the Conditional Use Permit criteria 'is also
required. You may refer to the enclosed Conditional Use Permit handout for the required criteria. Please
provide a written statement explaining how you meet each of these criteria.
3. The previous application for a Conditional Use Permit from 2007 (File No. CU -07-66) for the Edmonds
Lutheran Church preschool stated that there would be no overlap between preschool days/hours of operation
and the days/hours of church services. Your current application states that the preschool will operate
Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm. Please confirm whether there have been any changes to the
church service schedule after the previous application in 2007 which would cause the hours of the preschool
operations to overlap with the hours of any church services. If there is overlap between the preschool
operations and church services, it will need to be determined if sufficient on-site parking is being provided.
