NOTE: Future excavation is anticipated in conjunction with the extensive
landscaping, which is understood to entail rockeries andlor retaining walls.
Inspections continue.
• Temporary Shoring: The temporary Eco -Block shoring performed properly with
no adverse impacts. All Eco -Block shoring has been successfully backfilled.
Foundation Bearing: Previously inspected and approved.
• Subsurface Drainage: All subsurface drainage has been properly installed and is
approved.
NOTE: The future work for this site will entail extensive perimeter stabilization
walls (rockeries, keystone blocks, etc.). This engineer will perform inspections to
verify the appropriate "drainage zone" is installed in conjunction with the wall.
• Rockeries: Not yet. This engineer anticipates extensive perimeter landscaping
and rockeries.
• Backfill: All backfill for the residence itself has been successfully completed and
approved.
• Erosion Control — Site Monitoring: Ongoing inspections have verified proper
performance of the temporary erosion control measures: rocked construction
entrance, confinement of all work within property lines, proper maintenance of
siltation fencing, and diligent cleanup.
NOTE: A site inspection during the extreme rains of December 3, 2007 verified
site stability with no adverse erosional impacts.
SUMMARY:
• Ongoing geotechnical inspections have verified proper completion of items to
date (December 21, 2007).
