Per your request, I have completed fieldwork to locate your West Property Line in the vicinity of your pool
project for the purpose of determining proper setback_ I proceeded as follows:
Research & Reconnaissance:
I acquired a copy of the legal description for your parcel from the Snohomish County Auditor's File
#9709080399, Records of Snohomish County Washington. It reads as follows:
THE EASTERLY 70 FEET OF LOTS 5 AND 6, CHERRY LANE, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT
THEREOF RECORDED IN VOLUME 14 OF PLATS, PAGE 9, RECORDS OF SNOHOMISH
COUNTY, WASHINGTON.
I also acquired a copy of the above mentioned plat.
In the field, I found a plat monument at the intersection of 85"` Pl West (shown on the plat as 87"' West) as
well as centerline monuments on 218th St East of the plat. These monuments were used as the basis for your
survey. I found no property corners for your parcel_
Fieldwork:
On 2-25-07 I set a PK nail at the intersection of 218'' St and a projection of your East property line. I
occupied this PK, turned the angle to view your property line, and found a meandering fence line which
obscured further traverse down that line. I set a new PK on the centerline of 218"' St, 2 feet East of the first,
so as to provide line stakes on your parcel which are 2 feet East of your West property line.
I set a tack in coin in a 2" x 2" white stake, 82.80 feet North of your SW property corner and 2 feet East of
your West property line. I continued North parallel to your West property line, 47.20 feet, and set another
tack in coin in a 2" x 2" stake. These two stakes will serve to inform your field inspector as to the location
of your property line in the vicinity of your pool.
I did not set property corners, and am therefore not required to file a Record of Survey.
Notes:
I will leave the issue of determining setback compliance to you and your field inspector Should you decide
to have property corners set and a record a Record of Survey, I can do so for vou. A conv of the vlat map
and a sketch of your parcel are attached.
