SUBJECT: Plan Review – Demetri’s Woodstone Taverna
Dear Mr. Nicol;
I have reviewed the plan submitted for the tenant improvement work for Demetri’s. It appears that, for
the most part, there will be only some minor alteration needed to make the space comply with the needs
of the new tenant. However, the application will need to include some additional clarification and
information in order to approve for construction.
Only one set of plans was submitted. Two sets are required one for the city files and one for
construction.
The plan shows what I believe is a pizza oven unit located between the bar and the kitchen. No
details or specifications were included. We will need any construction details and/or installation
specifications from the manufacturer. This information must include any listings for the
equipment.
A fireplace is shown located on the westerly wall. The construction details, elevations,
specifications etc for this fireplace must be provided.
Although the application suggests no work will be done in the kitchen area, we do need to have
an equipment layout for the kitchen to confirm adequacy of the equipment. In particular the hood
and duct and suppression system, which are subject to inspection, need to be shown. Any
probable or future proposed expansion of the kitchen equipment could most effectively be
reviewed at this time, so please use this opportunity to explore future expansion.
I will review your submittal documents as soon as possible after receipt in order to facilitate permitting.
