Based on Const Type and square footage.  Fire Hydrants (number and locations, based on fire flow).  Automatic Fire Sprinklers required.  Fire Department Connection required (FDC and Hydrant to be within 50’ of each other).  Fire Connection Permit required.  Automatic Fire Alarm required.  If Type 1 hood is installed (Cooking), deferred fire suppression permit required.  Fire Extinguishers - IFC 906  Premise Identification – IFC 505  Emergency Access Key Boxes – IFC 506  Emergency Responder Radio Coverage – IFC 510. Only required if evaluation of building requires installation.  Co-locate riser room and fire alarm panel in a room with exterior access, preferably on the east side of the building.
