Request to Exceed Driveway Slope of 14%

This letter is being sent in response to your request to exceed the maximum allowed
driveway slope of 14%, dated July 8, 2008, After review of the submitted letter and civil
plans for the development it is understood that the request to exceed the 14% driveway
slope for the northeast portion of the driveway will not exceed 18%.
In review of the topography of the single family residence it is evident that there is little
alternative to constructing the driveway with a slope under 14%, given the relative
elevations of the garage finished floor and the distances between the two.
Given the above considerations, your request to exceed a driveway slope of 14%, but not
more than 18% is therefore approved.
