Request to Exceed Driveway Slope of 14%
Dear Mr. Hoover,
This letter is being sent in response to your request to exceed the maximum allowed
driveway slope of 14%, dated August 8, 2008. Review ofthe submitted letter and
inspection of the site conclude that if the driveway slope was decreased to meet 14%
slope the cross -slope ofthe paved portion of the existing 158"' St SW right of way would
have to be increased to approximately 12%.
Therefore it has been found reasonable to increase a portion of the driveway to a 20%
slope. Which allows the existing cross -slope of the paved portion of 158"' St SW right of
way to remain as it previously existed prior to construction of the new single family
residence at 7400 --- 158"' St SW.

Please accept this request for a waiver of driveway slope from 14% to 2-0%. Due to
the garage floor elevation and the existing road elevation , the very eastern side of
driveway needed to be 20% slope. This condition only exists on the edge and corner
of driveway.
