Please redline plans or submit three (3) sets of revised plans/documents with a written response to each of the items below to Marie Harrison. City of Edmonds handouts and standard details can be referenced on the City website under Development Services Department, Engineering Division. GENERAL 1.Please provide an itemized cost estimate for both on-site and off-site (right-of-way) improvements, including traffic control. A bond is required to be placed for all right-of-way improvements. The amount of the bond o will be based on 120% of the City approved estimate for all right-of-way improvements. The City will inform you of the appropriate bond amount after review of the cost estimate. Bond forms can be obtained from Marie Harrison, Permit Coordinator – 425-771-0220 or Harrison@ci.edmonds.wa.us Inspection fees for this project will be calculated at 2.2% of the 120% City approved o estimate for all improvements. 2.Please submit a traffic control and haul route plan for review and approval. 3.The storm drainage report is currently being reviewed by Jerry Shuster, Storm Water Engineer Program Manager. Any comments he may have will follow these plan corrections. C1 – EXISTING CONDITIONS & TESC PLAN 1.Clearly show and label all utilities to be removed. 2.Please revise the Construction Sequence as follows: ADD: Review ESC notes. ESC structures after site has been permanently stabilized . . . C2 – GRADING, DRAINAGE & UTILITY PLAN 1.CB-2 Type 2 detail – please indicate polypropylene ladder steps and show the shear gate handle hook on a ladder rung. 2.Please reference A1.1 parking striping or include striping plan with the civils. 3.Please add a note that existing curb, gutter and asphalt walkway shall be removed and replaced as required by City inspector. 4.Please indicate replacement of curb, gutter and asphalt walkway where there is disruption by the installation of utilities. 5.Show the storm tightline connection to the detention system. 6.Show the footing drain connection on the outfall side of the detention system. 7.Storm water runoff shall be treated prior to release to the City storm system. 8.Show water and sewer utilities and connections to the main. 9.The water system falls under Olympic View Water & Sewer District jurisdiction. Submit plan copies to OVWSD for approval and provide 3 copies of the approved plan sheet(s) to the City. C3 – STANDARD DETAILS 1.Please replace the standard driveway entrance detail E2.26 with detail E2.27.2 which allows for a radius entrance.
