corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please redline plans or submit three (3) sets of revised
plans/documents with a written response to each of the items below to Marie Harrison.
City of Edmonds handouts and standard details can be referenced on the City website under

GENERAL
12/19/08 Response letter state the cost estimate needs to be revised by the contractor. A

revised cost estimate was not submitted. Please submit so inspection fees and bond
amount can be determined.
11/3/08 Thank you for providing a cost estimate.
Please revise the cost estimate for on-site improvements as follows:
a.Add cost estimate for trash enclosure
b.Add cost estimate for parking lot striping
c.Revise quantity of Type II CBs to two (2).
d.Add 54 Type II MH
e.Revise detention system cost estimate to include a breakdown of pipe size, material and
lineal footage. The plans indicate a detention vault will not be installed at this site.
f.Add cost estimate for storm tightline. Specify pipe size, material and lineal footage.
g.Add cost estimate for footing drains. Specify pipe size, material and lineal footage.
h.Revise water pipe (domestic & fire) and sewer pipe estimates to include pipe size,
material and lineal footage.
Please revise the cost estimate for off-site (right-of-way) improvements as follows:

a.Revise concrete curb callout to specify concrete curb and gutter.
b.Add cost estimate for the storm connection required at the existing manhole in the City
right-of-way.

provided once approved.
9/22/08 comment - The water system falls under Olympic View Water & Sewer District
jurisdiction. Submit plan copies to OVWSD for approval and provide 3 copies of the approved
plan sheet(s) to the City.
