Please note: At no time will this "Dwelling" be intended for use as a rental unit. There was no intent to do so, ever. I am acutely aware that this area is zoned single family residence and I would have it built it much differently, if it were a rental. I suppose some people do things that way, I do not have the intention to do so. I am going thru the proper channels to get this thing built, why would there be a question about this? It is being built with that intention in mind, meant to be as an extension of my home to house my adult son(or any other member of my family) who cannot afford the cost of living out on his own. This is meant to be only an addition to my home, to give my 31 year old son(and myself), the privacy he needs. I would appreciate your assistance in helping resolve this matter as soon as possible, we are looking forward to having this project completed. I am out of town presently & will attend to further questions regarding this matter, upon my return at the end of next week. Please address any further questions to the contractor who filed for the permit, Tim Hapke, he represents me in this matter. He has been very accommodating in our requests and yours, to be sure this structure is legal & up to city code standards, and is working on the matter of corrections you require.
