Hi Sean,
I’m working on the additional information. Questions: (1) I went over the NIER report with the
project manager and we aren’t sure where we can clarify the report. A lot of it discusses
methodology, but on pages 4-5, under Theoretical Analysis, it states that a six foot person standing
next to the facility would be 53 feet below all antennas and the worst-case exposure is about 2% of
the FCC limits. (2) When we talked about the location, you mentioned that the park was a higher
priority. The only thing I can find in the code on parks/public property is that the City will enable
leases on city property in order to generate revenue, not that its inherently better or a higher
priority. There aren’t any zone types or property types mentioned under the General Siting Criteria
section, just facility types. Is there another section that I’m just missing?

Subject: Verizon wireless conditional use permit- Edmonds
Hi Becky-
Just checking in since we last discussed this project. In my notes I have you providing me
an updated RF report to make it more understandable to the general public, looking into
th
possibly moving the utility pole on 238 Street further east, determine why the tower
location could not be sited at the park along 104th and addressing comments from the
neighbors.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Once I receive this information from you I
can continue processing your conditional use permit application.
Thanks
Sean Conrad
