Jen,
Just in case you have wondered what the status is for this project, We have been trying to complete
the as-build of the building per your request. We have completed that for two of the existing units
but are waiting for the third tenant to move out since she has been difficult is being evicted. As soon
as we have access to the apartment, we will complete the measurement and as-built.
Sincerely,
Steven Dona Architecture,

Hi Jen,
First off I think that you are getting tripped up by the use of the term "duplex" Rob Chave in his
meeeting with Steve Dona already discussed the fact that the county has used that term as a general
category for residences that contain two, three, four or five units.
Secondly from the documents that we have obtained from the county and that I gave a copy of to
you, two things are very clear. One is that the county mixes the addresses 9111 and 9113 and at
time applies one address to one building and at other time uses the other address. The other thing
that is very clear is that the building has always been at least a triplex. One document that has the
appraisal "field book notes" clearly shows the plan of 9111, calls it 9113 and "triplex". It also points
out that in 1972 when the building was built, that it "has 5 separate fuse boxes and .. will be a 4
plex". Another document labeled REVAL 95 BUILDING LAND 3/31/95 clearly lists three living units.
Another document from the assessor which list the section township and range at the top of the
page, clearly lists "no. of apts. -3" it is dated 1982.
As far as giving you a plan for all of the other existing units that we are not proposing any work be
done in, I can't imagine what that will accomplish. Surely the city is not questioning the existence of
those units, that they are charging taxes for. The plans that were submitted contain documentation
of the existing conditions in the unit that we are proposing to do work, but I would be happy to
submit a plan that shows only the existing conditions in that space. Let me know if that would be
helpful.

Jen,
Our office had a chance to speak with Rob Chave last week about the project at 239111 236th St
SW. After meeting with Rob and going over the document that we have obtained from the
Snohomish County Assessors, it seems clear that the next step would be for us to meet with you to
go over that information. Because of the very confusing nature of this lot and the information from
the county I do not believe it would be productive to simply forward the information to you. Please
let me know when it would be convenient for you to meet.
Thanks very much,
Steven Dona Architecture,
Scott Tholen
