During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please submit revised plans/documents including a written
response to each item below.
Resubmittals can be made at the Development Services Department on the 2nd floor of City Hall.
Permit Center hours are M, T, Th & F from 8am-4:30pm and on Wednesdays from 8:30am-noon.
City of Edmonds handouts, standard details with reference numbers, application and other forms,
and development code may be referenced on the City website: www.edmondswa.gov under
Services/Permits and Development.
GENERAL
1) Please note that all standard details have been updated and have new reference numbers.
Review the changes on the city website and update plans with the new details.
2) Submit ROW Permit Application form if needed.
3) Show all private easement information within the plan sets. Note AFN's for existing
easements and/or recording documents for proposed easements as applicable.
4) Please remove any notes from the plan sheets that do not pertain to the project (for example,
if the project is not proposing to do any underground utility work, please remove those
notes, etc.).
TESC
1) Please revise the plans to reference the new standard detail for the filter fence, ER-900.
2) Show construction entrance (if needed) on the plans and incorporate and reference new City
standard detail ER-901.

downstream from the construction site. Incorporate and reference New City standard detail
ER-902.
WATER
1) Show the water service line from the meter to the house.
2) Per the fixture count, a 1" meter will be required with a minimum 1-1/4" service line.
Please show the installation of the new meter and service line or show that the existing
meter and service line are sufficient.
SEWER
1) Per City records, it appears that there is a sewer main that runs from two properties to the
east to the west side of your home then heads north to 220th St SW. This sewer main is
owned by Olympic View Water and Sewer District (OVWSD).
a. Please show the sewer main to the east property line.
b. Please provide verification from OVWSD that the line exists as shown and that
OVWSD approves of the proposed project.
c. Please show the limits of the easement.
STORM
1) Please note that there is not credit given for existing impervious areas that are removed. If
an area is removed to bare soils (even if replaced in the same location as the existing) the
impervious area will be considered new impervious surface area. Please revise the
impervious surface calculations accordingly.
2) It appears from aerial photos, there has been work done within the last year that has added
impervious areas. Please show these areas as new and include them in your impervious
surface area calculations. If the total new impervious area is larger than 2000sgft, the
following will need to be added to the plans.
a. Impervious Areas chart: Provide a breakdown for all the impervious surfaces.
Project Site Category: (Category 1 or Category 2)
