Engineering has completed the review for the Rigsby Covered Patio at 21813 — 86th PI W. Currently the
existing stormwater management system that this property discharges to is at capacity for the allowed
impervious surface area runoff. It appears from what you provided that there is approx. 150sgft of new
impervious surface water runoff. The City will allow for the impervious surface water runoff from the new
addition to tie into the existing stormwater management system through a perforated pipe system. Please
look at the Perforated Stub -out detail below for an option to mitigate the area and then connect to the
existing stormwater management system (without the requirement for a Geotechnical Engineer). There is
also a possibility that you may tie into splashblocks, but you will need to isolate the square footage of the
additional impervious area of roof to the splashblocks. If you choose this option, please show the roof line
and breaks so that the square footage discharging to the splashblocks can be verified. You may also propose
and additional option for us to review.
