During review of the subject submittal it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications will need to be addressed:
1.The Encroachment Permit application has been submitted for the concrete slab located in the right-of-way
along the west property line. The Encroachment Permit Application and Agreement need to be revised to
include the portions of fence located in the right-of-way.
2.The four page Encroachment Agreement needs to meet county recording requirements, which does not allow
for writing in the 1” margins. Please revise accordingly.
3.Item #1 on the agreement shall describe the parcel (legal description) or an Exhibit “A” shall be attached with
this information.
4.Item #3 on the agreement requires an Exhibit “B” showing the location of the encroachment.
5.Encroachment Permits also require submittal of an insurance certificate, which the applicant was informed of
on 10/24/06, but the City has yet to receive. Please pay particular attention to the sample insurance

certificate provided in handout #E26 and available on web at under the Engineering
Division of the Development Services Department, to ensure a complete submittal.
Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plans/documents to a Development Services Coordinator. Please
