During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts referred to in these comments can be accessed at
our website: www.ci.edmonds.wa.us under City Government / Development Services Department /
Engineering Division then scroll down to Handouts:

1) On the site plan, you have shown that there is a shoulder on the West side of 96 Ave, adjacent to
Westlake Elementary School. You are showing that this shoulder is where you are intending to have
your work area; however, there is no shoulder. Revise the site plan showing exactly where you intend to
work and revise the traffic control accordingly.
2) The construction work needs to be completed during school hours. Revise site plan showing work will

be performed either between 9am-10:30am and/or 12pm-2pm on the west side of 96 St. Work to be
th
completed on the East side of 96 St can be completed between 7am-6pm.
***We have spoken with Westgate Elementary School and the hours given above is acceptable to them;
however, there are a few additional restrictions.

a)No work will be performed on Friday the 30 of May or June 17.
b)Westgate Elementary School must be notified one week prior to construction.

If work can be completed after June 18 the time restrictions would be null and void.
Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised traffic control plans and associated documents with a written
