During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts referred to in these comments can be accessed at
our website: www.ci.edmonds.wa.us under City Government / Development Services Department /
Engineering Division then scroll down to Handouts:
1) Please include eaves with calculations of existing and proposed impervious surfaces. Also submitted
calculations do not match floor plan, please revise.
2) Garage south wall is labeled as 46ft on site plan. Please revise to be consistant with floor plan.
2) Please indicate grading amount on site plan and provide bottom of footing for garage and addition areas.
3) Total existing impervious surface post 1977 is 534 sf and total proposed impervious surface is over
2000sf. City of Edmonds Ordinance #1924 states that when all impervious surface area added after 1977
exceeds a total of 2000sf, on onsite detention will be required. The ordinance does not allow credit for
previously undetained surfaces that are removed. Please provide drainage plans for review. See Handout E72
for more information.
Please resubmit 3 copies of the traffic control plans to an Engineering Technician. Please contact me at
