During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts referred to in these comments can be accessed at
our website: www.ci.edmonds.wa.us under City Government / Development Services Department /
Engineering Division then scroll down to Handouts:
Please revise site plan to show the following:
1.Please revise the Traffic Control Plan or Site Plan to include ALL of the following on one plan:
a.Edge of pavement
b.Edge of Right-of-Way
c.Show the sidewalk
d.Show the location and approximate size of all cuts
e.Note on plans where boring and trenching will occur
f.Show the locations of all the city utilities so that separation can be verified (a minimum of
5’ Separation). Storm, sewer, and water all exist within the proposed area of construction.
g.Add a note on the plans that state ‘Access to driveways and entrances will be maintained.’
h.It appears that a proposed valve may be within the sidewalk. Is this accurate? Please
revise plans to show location of valve in relation to sidewalk.
2.Please note on plans if there are any trees that will be within the area of construction. Please note
on plans that approval from the city must be obtained prior to any disturbance of trees within the
right-of-way.
Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised traffic control plans and associated documents with a written
response to each item to an Engineering Technician. Please contact me at 425-771-0220 ext 1321 or by e-
mail at jennifer.lambert@ci.edmonds.wa.us if you have specific questions regarding these plan
corrections.
