During review of the subject submittal,it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications wouldneed to be addressed. All Handouts referred to in these comments can be accessedat
our website: www.ci.edmonds.wa.usunder City Government / Development Services Department /
Engineering Division then scroll down to Handouts:
1)Please add a note thatfilter socks will be added as needed per Edmonds Standard Detail E1.3.
2)Please add a note that all disturbed soils will be compost amended.
3)Driveway approach and wheel paths should shift further east to give more clearance from the homeand
gas meter.
4)The new driveway approachwill count towards total new impervious surface area. Please provide total
sqft for new ramp.Please provide total proposed impervious calculations.
5)Please add notethatcurb will be replaced as calledoutin handout E2.26.Please show on site plan areas
of the curb/gutter tobe replaced for the new driveway approach.
6)Please show on plans the 2’ asphalt cut and patch adjacent to curb/gutterto be replaced. Handout E2.26.
7)If the concrete entry walkway is poured in the same foot print as existing it will not be counted as new
impervious surface. Please note on planswhether you are replacingexistingconcrete or adding new
impervious.
8)Please clarifyif pavers are intended to work as a pervious or impervious surface. If pavers are intended
to be installed as a pervious surface pleaserefer to the Permeable Pavement Systems Flow Chart (Figure
1) of the Permable Pavement Policyto make sure project meets requirements. If requirements are meet,
install according to handout E72B,Low Impact Development (LID) Storm Water Best Management
Practices (BMP).If pavers are intended to be animpervious surface, install according to manufacturer’s
requirements.

9)Please show on site plan sqft of all existing impervious surfacesand provide year of construction. Please
provide total calculations forallproposed impervious surfaces and existingimpervious surfaceon the

completedtable.
