During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please submit three (3) sets of revised plans/documents
with a written response to each of the items below to a permit coordinator.

Resubmittals can be made at the Development Services Department on the 2floor of City Hall.
Permit Center hours are M, T, Th & F from 8am-4:30pm. The Permit Center is closed on
Wednesdays.
City of Edmonds handouts, standard details and development code can be referenced on the City
website.
1.The application form did not include a state contractor’slicense or city business license number.
In speaking with the City Clerks office, it appears as though the contractor does not have a
current City business license. Please refer to the Business Licensesection of the City website.
2.Provide construction sequence–refer to sample languageon the City website.
3.Provide a temporary erosion control plan.
4.A City of Edmonds owned sanitary sewer main runs through the playfieldin Easement
AFN1975576. The sanitarysewer lineis shown on page 12 of thedrainage report.
a.Please show the easement and sanitary sewer main on Sheet C-3, Grading and TESC
Plan.
b.Documentation is required to acknowledge that improvements installed within the
easement area are the ownership and maintenance responsibility of the School District.
In addition, should the City need to replace the sanitary sewer main, repair/replacement
of the drainage system would be the responsibility of the School District. Unless you
have specific instrument to accomplish this, an encroachment permit application
City
agreement could be submitted to the City for review and approval. Please refer to
handout E26.
5.The following comments are provided by Jerry Shuster, Stormwater Engineer. If you have

a.Pleaseconfirm the proposed project will have less than 7,000sf of land disturbing
activity.
b.The calculated storm flow increases are stated to be between 24%-57% depending on the
storm. The Drainage Study indicates the onsite stormwatermanagement system can
handle the flow increase, however, an increase in flow to the City system has not been
analyzed. Please provide an analysis.
c.Table 3-12 in the report is titled “Existing Condition Results”. Please revise to say
“Proposed Condition Results”.
