Please submit two (2) sets of revised plans/documents with a written response to each of the items below to an engineering technician. Resubmittals can be made at the Development Services Department on the 2nd floor of City Hall. Permit Center hours are M, T, Th & F from 8am-4:30pm and on Wednesdays from 8:30am-noon. GENERAL 1. Please provide an itemized engineers cost estimate for both on -site and off -site (right-of-way) improvements, including all utilities, traffic control, NGPA fencing and restoration/enhancement plantings. Use the King County Site Improvement Bond Quantity Worksheet and utilize the "write-in" sections where appropriate. 7/23/18 Please add plastic covering to page 2 Move items on page 4 from the "future right of way improvements" column Sheet EC-01 EXISTING CONDITIONS 7/23/18 New Comment: Please correct the overwriting on plan. Sheet AL-01 EXISTING CONDITIONS 11. Engineering Requirements for this project state that 88th Ave W and 188th St SW shall be widened along property frontage as needed to comply with street standards for the specific roadway classification. Please provide a road cross section for both 88th and 188th a. 7/23/18 The detail for 188th shows 11 ft to edge of curb but the actual drawing shows 11.7 to edge of curb. It is preferable to keep sidewalk aligned with existing conditions as long as the 11 ft drive lane is attainable. Please revise if there is in fact an extra .7 feet available. TRANSPORTATION ENGINEER REVIEW Refer to plan review comments below by City Transportation Engineer, Bertrand Hauss. Please contact Bertrand directly at 425-771-0220 or by email at bertrand.hauss(&edmondswa.1!ov with any specific questions you may have regarding his comments. Sheet TC-01 — TRAFFIC CONTROL 7/23/18 Comment: 1. The Detail provided (Typical Application 10) in the Traffic Control Plan doesn't apply to this scenario since a 3rd flagger needs to be present. In addition, this work includes work @ an intersection (not curved roadway). The additional flagger is needed since the flagger along 88th Ave. W (NB movement) will be too far from the ALL -WAY stop -controlled intersection to control the other (2) approaches (SB on 88th and EB on 188th) STORMWATER ENGINEER REVIEW Refer to Plan review comment below by City Stormwater Engineer, Zachary Richardson. Please contact Zack directly at 425-771-0220 or by email at zachary.rich ardson(a edmondswa.2ov with any specific questions you may have regarding his comments. 7/23/18 Comment: Please revise all drainage easement labels to 'private'. Fire District and the Planning Division do not have any additional comments. Page 2 of 2
