Please submit two (2) sets of revised plans/documents with a written response to each of the items below to an engineering technician. GENERAL 1. 7/18/18 Ok. Will submit completed bond quantity worksheet with next submittal. 3. 7/18/18 OK. Will provide approved OVWSD plan with next submittal. Sheet C1 of CS C9 — COVER SHEET 7. Partially completed- Please see the following comments regarding the additions to the sheet. 1.11.18 New Comments 7.1. 7/18/18: The list is intended to provide available utility purveyors. Please note Snohomish PUD for power and add Comcast and Frontier to cable and tv. Please add list of utility purveyors to the cover sheet. Use EUC handout E28 as a guide. In addition, please list City of Edmonds as the stormwater purveyor. 7.3 7/23/18: This sheet is still not very clear as far as the easements. Sheet C4 shows the easements clearly except for gas to Lots 2 and 3. All of the proposed gas line shall be in the same line type and weight. Please add gas to sheet C4 and indicate that easements are included on this sheet or copy this sheet and add to plan set separately as the easement sheet. The easements areas are confusing, unable to verify compliance. 7.6 7/23/18: The "Conditions" of the prelim approval are not intended to be a part of the civil plans. This section is a part of the Prelim staff report and is informational regarding a few items to be included on the plans. Please remove. Sheet C2 of CA-C9 — TESC/GRADING/DEMO PLAN — Done. Sheet C3 of CS C9 — TESC NOTES AND DETAILS — Done. SHEET C4 OF C8 C9—STORMWATER PLAN -done SHEET C5 OF G8 C9 — STORMWATER PLAN/PROFILE- done SHEET C6 (NOW C7) OF C8 C9 — FRONTAGE IMPROVEMENTS - done. SHEET C7 of G8 C9 FRONTAGE IMPROVEMENTS 50. 7/23/18 West transition does not show the transition from landscape strip to the existing sidewalk which has no landscape strip. 1/11/18 See notes on plan sheet and comment below. Please provide the transition to existing conditions as requested. Show sidewalk transitions at each end of the property to extend approximately 10 ft in length. 51. 7/23/18 Driveway ramps shall have a maximum slope of 8.3% or if not attainable, chase slope to a maximum of 15 ft in length. Please a notation indicating the slope of each ramp on the driveway entrances to show the ramps meet this requirement. 52.. 1.11.18 Revise. Included attached is Driveway Detail III (it was just completed for project use) Please use the detail for reference in the driveway entrance designs. Replace current driveway detail with this one. Hold sidewalk high through the drive accesses, provided that absorbing the slope from sidewalk creates any issues with vehicles entering and existing the property. SHEET C8 of C8 C9 — WATER SERVICE CONNECTION PLAN 57. 7/23/18 To be submitted. Observation: Water line for Lot 2 does not need to go on Lot 1 property since it is already on Lot 2. 1/11/18 To be submitted. A water plan approved and signed by OVWSD shall be submitted prior to short plat civils are approved. SHEET C9 of C-8 C9 — SEWER PLAN — I/I 1/18 Most comments can be found on the plan sheet. 69. 1/11/18 Please add telephone/cable and a call out the distance between each. Refer to utility separation requirements attached. Show location of dry utilities and required utility separation (5-feet from City utilities within the ROW and 3-feet from water/sewer/storm utilities on private property). Utilities shall be shown to stub out on each property. 70. 7/23/18 The gas line is lightweight in some places and dark in others. Please revise to clearly indicate what is existing and what portion is proposed. 1/11/18 Not shown. Connection in the right of way is not shown. The lines for gas and power appear to go to road center line only. In addition, if this is a trench connection, it must be shown on the plans and combined with the other utility patches on thei project. Show location of gas from connection in right of way to the properties. Bertrand Hauss, the city's transportation engineer has reviewed the Traffic Control plan sheet submittal. On State Route, an arrow board with attenuators is required to indicate up -coming lane shift for WB movement (to be placed @ center of lane / as shown in plan sheet) 2. Show location of (3) proposed traffic control signs along SR-104 (in regards to 15t" St. SW) 3. A pedestrian walkway along SR-104 isn't a safe alternative, include "SIDEWALK CLOSED" signage and add Pedestrian Detour directing pedestrians to the other side of SR-104 (_> add signage at closest crosswalk to east and west / at both signalized intersections) , 1 1 IMINUMUMET A .
