1) The plans show an existing driveway and an addition to the driveway immediately to the
northwest associated with the proposed addition. The impervious surface area calculations
note the proposed driveway to be 91.70 square feet and the existing driveway to be 363.99
square feet, which would provide a total driveway area of 455.69. The impervious surface
area calculations also indicate 305.54sf of existing impervious is to be removed (old
driveway), which makes it unclear what the final square footage of the driveway area will
be. In addition, the plans do not show an area of driveway to be removed. Please revise
plans to clearly show existing driveway to be removed, existing driveway to remain, and
proposed driveway areas and update impervious surface area calculations accordingly.
2) If the removal of the driveway necessitates equipment and/or vehicle staging within the City
right of way (ROW), a ROW permit shall be required.
TESC
1) Show filter fence on the plans and incorporate and reference City standard detail.
2) Install and maintain all TESC measures according to approved plans, City of Edmonds
standard details, and all other measures that may be required during construction.
