During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please submit revised plans/documents including a written
response to each item below.
Resubmittals can be made at the Development Services Department on the 2nd floor of City Hall.
Permit Center hours are M, T, Th & F from 8am-4:30pm and on Wednesdays from 8:30am-noon.
City of Edmonds handouts, new updated standard details with new reference numbers, application
and other forms, and development code may be referenced on the City website:
www.edmondswa.gov under Services/Permits and Development.
C.F.NF.RAT.
1) Show all existing structures and impervious surfaces (driveways, patios, walkways, etc.) on
site on the plans, and note which are intended to be removed and which are to remain.
2) It is unclear whether the entire building foundation is to be removed during the demolition.
Please clarify and note this on the plans.
3) If the single family residence is demolished for greater than one year before a new single
family residence permit application is submitted, traffic impact fees will be assessed.
TESC
1) Show filter fence on the plans and incorporate and reference City standard detail.
2) Show construction entrance on the plans or note if existing driveway access shall be used
during construction.
3) Please add a note to the plans that all disturbed/exposed soils will be compost amended per
BMPT5.13.
4) Exposed soils shall be permanently stabilized at the end of demolition and prior to
construction final. Please note as such on the plans.
ITTILITIF S
1) Show existing utilities on the plans.
2) Existing side sewer shall be cut and capped at the property line unless the line is proposed to
be reused.
3) If the existing side sewer is to be re -used, the line must be cut and capped a minimum of 20'
from existing and/or proposed foundation, whichever is closest to the property line.
4) Cut water service line at the property line, at the back of the meter. Contact the Public
Works department at (425) 771-0235 to shut off water service.
If you intend to keep water at the site, a hose spigot or yard hydrant shall be installed
with AVB. This will be required at a minimum during demolition unless another
water source is available. The water line must be disconnected with an AVB at the
meter during construction.
