During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please submit revised plans/documents including a written
response to each item below.
Resubmittals can be made at the Development Services Department on the 2nd floor of City Hall.
Permit Center hours are M, T, Th & F from 8am-4:30pm and on Wednesdays from 8:30am-noon.
City of Edmonds handouts, new updated standard details with new reference numbers, application
and other forms, and development code may be referenced on the City website:
www.edmondswa.gov under Services/Permits and Development.
SITE PLAN
1) An asphalt driveway approach shall be required with the proposed garage addition.
a. The driveway approach shall not exceed 24 feet in width, and shall be paved for a
minimum of 20 feet from the edge of pavement at 203rd St SW toward the structure.
b. Please submit a ROW Permit Application for the work associated with the asphalt
driveway connection at the street.
2) The asphalt approach required for this addition shall count toward new impervious surfaces
created for this project. Please show the dimensions of the asphalt approach on the plans and
include this in the total new impervious surface area.
a. Please note that meeting or exceeding 2,000 square feet of new hard surfaces
requires stormwater management.
UTILITIES
1) Show the location of the water meter and the line from the meter to the house on the plans.
2) Show the side sewer from the main line to the house on the plans.
a. If the side sewer is within the vicinity of the proposed garage, the line and any
cleanout(s) shall remain accessible.
b. If rerouting the side sewer or any cleanout(s), submit a Side Sewer Permit
Application form.
TESC
1) Show filter fence on the plans and incorporate and reference City standard detail.
2) Please add a note to the plans that all disturbed soils will be compost amended per BMP
T5.13.
