During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please submit revised plans/documents including a written
response to each item below.
Resubmittals can be made at the Development Services Department on the 2nd floor of City Hall.
Permit Center hours are M, T, Th & F from 8am-4:30pm and on Wednesdays from 8:30am-noon.
City of Edmonds handouts, standard details, application and other forms, and development code
may be referenced on the City website: www.edmondswa.gov under Services/Permits and
Development.
1) Show all utilities on the Site Plan (i.e. stormwater facilities, sewer, water, etc.).
2) It appears that there was a conversation that the surface water runoff from the decking of the
pool was to discharge to the stormwater facility. Please show this on the plans.
3) Show a cleanout in the vicinity of the pool for the draining of the pool.
a. Pools cannot have a direct connection to sanitary sewer. Drainage of pools must be
pumped to sewer system via cleanout.
b. Deck drains may drain to the onsite drainage system.
c. The cleanout shall be located 20-30' from the pool.
d. Please revise the plans accordingly.
4) Show all impervious areas on the plans (i.e. roof lines, patios, walkways, gravel areas,
driveways, etc.).
5) If there is an equipment room/shed, please show on the plans.
6) Please note how much impervious surface area is proposed (the pool counts as impervious).
