Reviews by other divisions, such as Planning, Building, or Fire may result in additional comments. Please submit two (2) sets of revised plans/documents including a written response to each item below. Resubmittals can be made at the Development Services Department on the 2nd floor of City Hall. Permit Center hours are M, T, Th & F from 8am-4:30pm and on Wednesdays from 8:30am-noon. City of Edmonds handouts, New Updated Standard Details, application and other forms, and development code may be referenced on the City website: www.edmondswa.gov under Services/Permits and Development. General Note: 1) Please note that all standard details have been updated and have new reference numbers. Review the changes on the city website and update plans. 2) Submit ROW Permit Application form 3) A Stormwater Covenant is required to be recorded against the property based on the proposed stormwater facilities for the project. Please complete the covenant, including notarization and any required exhibits and submit to the city. Ensure the stormwater covenant meets Snohomish County Record Drawing requirements. The document must be complete, but will not be recorded prior to permit issuance. Prior to construction, final location of facilities are to be verified (by field inspection and asbuilt) and then the covenant will be recorded. 4) Please note: additional comments not included in this review may be produced after reviewing the next submittal. Sheet 1: Cover Sheet 5) Please revise General Notes to be consistent with the example notes available on the city website. Updates have been made since the version of general notes used on plan: a. Replace 2014 to 2018 WSDOT/APWA Standards b. Remove "Revised 09.30.14" where it occurs c. Revise Note #21 to reflect contact to be Jeff Koblyk and the email JEFF . KOB LYKgEDMOND S WA. GO V Sheet 2: SWPPP and Demolition Plan 1) Show existing trees on plan and indicate which ones will be removed. Orange protective barrier fencing shall be placed at the drip line of trees to remain and around areas proposed for low impact development techniques, such as rain gardens, infiltration systems, etc., to protect the area from compaction. 6) Add silt fence along north clearing limits as well as northeast limits adjacent to slope. Reference new city standard detail. 7) Add a note that the stockpile is to be covered with anchored plastic within 24 hours of last use. 8) Under Stabilized Construction Entrance Notes sweeping information shall be consistent with General Notes #24 regarding prohibiting washing of streets. 9) Move the note regarding using the driveway for the construction entrance to the "Stabilized Construction Entrance Notes". Call out driveway as temporary construction entrance on plan. 10) Please show a call out on the drawing and add a SWPPP note to the plans that a filter sock will be installed in the downstream catch basin at 5th Ave. Reference the new city standard detail on plans. 11) All existing utilities shall be shown from the city main line/lateral to the structure. Please show the existing sewer, water, storm, and dry utilities (gas, cable, etc.) on the plan. 12) If any utilities are going to be added or relocated, please show on Drainage/Utility Plan - Sheet 3 or a separate sheet if it will be easier to read.
