During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts and Standard Details referred to in these
comments can be accessed at our website: www.edmondswa.gov by choosing the Government tab and
Public Works) Engineering under Departments:
Please Note: Building Handouts do not include updated Engineering Division Requirements. Refer to
Engineering Handouts for all Engineering Requirements.
Please provide a written response to all comments. Thank you
General Plan:
Please provide an erosion/sediment control plan for this work. It can be combined with the
erosion control plan for the demo. This would meet the erosion control plan requirements for
each of the permits.
Site Plan:
2. Are there are any utilities (sewer or water) connected to the garage? Are there any new
connections planned? If so, please show the connections to garage and where they connect to
the other utilities on the site, or if they connect directly to the main utilities.
3. If there are any sewer connections, please provide invert elevations for connection at garage
and the connection to the rest of the system.
Stormwater:
4. It appears that you will be required to change the location etc of the garage. Any of the
foundation that is removed must be treated as "new" impervious surface. Please provide the
impervious surface calculations for the garage on the site plan and make sure the square
footage Is included in the calculations on the Drainage plan.

5. The plan notes a total of 335.7 cubic yards of cut/fill. This number does not agree with the
grading total on the Drainage plan. Please revise this plan or the drainage plan to reflect
actual amount.
