RE: Application 4: bld20190824
Project: Mural
Project Address: 313 Main Street
During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications are needed. Reviews by other divisions, such as Planning and Building, may result in
additional comments. Please redline plans or submit three (3) sets of revised plans/documents with a
written response to each of the items below to a permit coordinator.
Resubmittals can be made at the Development Services Department on the 2nd floor of City Hall. Permit
Center hours are M, T, Th & F from 8am-4:30pm and on Wednesdays from 8:30am-12pm.
City of Edmonds handouts, standard details and development code can be referenced on the City website.
1. Please provide a site plan showing Main Street, the sidewalk, and the alley
2. Provide information on construction process and sequencing. Please address the following:
a. Preparation of wall (and removal of existing mural if required)
b. Set-up and break -down of project area daily
c. Area of alley disruption
d. Hours during the day in which the work is to be completed
In review of the permit it appears as though the alley may need to be closed at Main Street while all or
portions of the work is being completed. In order for the alley to remain open, a minimum 10-ft travel
lane is required to be maintained. A Right of Way permit will be required to allow for closeure of the
alley and proper signage will be required to address the closure. Provide a traffic control plan as
needed. In addition, if alley closure is required, the contractor will need to complete a Right of Way
permit application and return to the City prior to issuance of the building permit. A link to the
application has been provided and can also be found on the City website.
