RE: Application #: bld20161694
Project: QFC — parking striping revision
Project Address: 22828 100th Ave W
During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please submit revised plans/documents with a written
response to each of the items below to a permit coordinator.
Resubmittals can be made at the Development Services Department on the 2nd floor of City Hall.
Permit Center hours are M, T, Th & F from 8am-4:30pm and on Wednesdays from 8:30am-noon.
City of Edmonds handouts, standard details and development code can be referenced on the City
website.
1. The proposed striping revisions include the addition of parking stalls along the property line
near Edmonds Way. The minimum drive -aisle width for two-way traffic is 24-feet. With the
addition of these parallel stalls, the drive -aisle width is no longer being met. Drive -aisle widths
for one-way traffic can be reduce to 12-feet. Please revise plans to provide a parking
arrangement that allows for driveway aisle widths to be met.
2. The parking stalls along the south side of the building were previously numbered to indicate 4
parking stalls. With the proposed revision the numbers have been removed and it is unclear
how many stalls are being proposed. Bumper blocks have still been shown, indicating 4 parking
stalls, however the parking striping no longer lines up with the bumper blocks nor does it meet
minimum parking dimension standards. Please revise to show parking stalls at a minimum
16.5' in length x 8.5' in width.
