6) This comment was left to refer to as changes are made to the plans. Disruption fees
shall apply to cuts made in streets that have been overlaid within the last 5-years.
Refer to City map to verify status of street and use the calculator in Permit Trax
(ROW permit) to determine specific fee based on the size of the cut and the year in
which it was overlaid. The fee to cut into a street was overlaid within the last year has
a multiplier of 5 times the fee. A street overlaid within the last 2 years has a multiplier
of 4 times the fee, and so forth.
7) This comment was left to refer to as changes are made to the plans. Please make sure
to revise all plans sheets as changes are made.

5) 7/13/18 — Comment was not addressed. It appears that there are still portions of the
driveway that exceed 14%. All portions of the driveway need to be 14% or under.
Please keep in mind that if you design at 14%, it creates a situation where the
contractor has no margin for error.
5/18/18 Comment: Consistent with Edmonds Community Development Code 18.80.060,
driveway slopes shall not exceed 14% slope.
a. The contours don't appear to match the spot elevations provided.
b. It appears on the plans the south side of the driveway is almost 30% steep. Please
show how you will maintain a minimum of 12' wide driveway and under 14% slope.
Please note the 14% requirement on the plans.

5) Please add a note to the plans that if the sewer cannot be reused, the sewer line will
need to be located outside of the buffer.

accordingly.
7) Show the City Force line that exists within 761" Ave W.

STORMWATER ENGINEER REVIEW
See below for additional comments. The previous review comments by City Stormwater
Engineer, Zachary Richardson have been addressed. Please contact Zack directly at 425-771-
0220 or by email at zacharv.richardson(&edmondswa.gov with any specific questions you may
have regarding his comments.
1) The final drain pipe, connecting to the public drainage system, is laid backwards and
will direct right-of-way runoff onto the site. Revise the drainage design so that a
minimum of 0.5% positive slope is achieved.
