During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please submit revised plans/documents including a written
response to each item below.

10) 8.20.19 Rockery is still shown on plan sheet A0. Needs to be shown on all plans and must
include top and toe elevations for each end of rockery and at every 2 ft of change. 3.25.19
Not done. Response letter states that rockery is removed but it is still shown on the plans. A
rockery is shown along the access road. The City of Edmonds does not review or approve
rockeries. Construction of rockeries is prohibited within the City of Edmonds under certain
circumstances and in certain situations per Edmonds Community Development Code
18.40.020. Please review the code section to verify this rockery falls outside of the
prohibitions. Top and toe elevations for the rockery are required at each end of the wall and
at every two feet of change.
11) 8.20.19 Still outstanding. 3.25.19 Not Done. This requires a review, please submit as soon as
possible. A Stormwater Covenant is required to be recorded against the property based on
the proposed stormwater facilities for the project. Please complete the covenant, including
notarization and any required exhibits and submit to the city. Ensure the stormwater
covenant meets Snohomish County Record Drawing requirements. The document must be
complete, but will not be recorded prior to permit issuance. Prior to construction, final
location of facilities are to be verified (by field inspection and asbuilt) and then the covenant
will be recorded.

reviewing the geotech report, there are provisions for installing the construction entrance,
please show per report. 3.25.19 Future location of pervious pavement should be protected
to the extent possible. Please add fence to part of it at least. Orange protective barrier
fencing shall be placed at the drip line of trees to remain and around areas proposed for low
impact development techniques, such as rain gardens, infiltration systems, etc., to protect the
area from compaction.
