The following items need to be addressed/confirmed to be complete to receive an Engineering
final inspection on the project.
1. Final stabilization of all exposed soils, including submittal of ticket(s) showing the installation of
compost amended soils.
2. Storm system:
a. Clean
b. Mudding complete (risers, pick holes, pipe)
c. Ladders/rungs in place
d. Control tee in place ... we did see the control tee today, but could not confirm orifice.
Please provide documentation to the City that the orifice is per design.
e. Confirmation that gutters/downspouts connect to tightline system
f. Confirmation that tightline system connects to detention system
3. Water system:
a. 6" clearance between meter register and meter box lid ... this has not been provided at
the domestic meter.
b. Tracer wire coiled within the meter box
c. Inspection by Water Quality technician (Jeff Koblyk) ... it is understood correction items
have been relayed already
d. Backflow test reports for all assemblies, including DCDA on fire line, to be provided to
Jeff Koblyk
e. Fire Department approval of fire line system
f. Storz adapters on fire hydrants
4. Sewer system:
a. Nearest downstream manhole clean of debris
b. Screw cap on cleanout at property line ... we confirmed this was in place, but it is
pushed up against the ring of the lamphole cover and cannot be removed.
c. Concrete collar surrounding Cl lamphole cover per City standards
5. Parking lot:
a. Correct number of stalls
b. Stall width consistent with approved plans
c. Arrows/signage depicting one-way drive aisles per approved plans
6. Trash enclosure:
a. Dimensions per approved plans
b. Gates in place with drop pins
c. Drop pin sleeves in parking lot for use when gates are in open position
7. Right-of-way:
a. Final lift of asphalt
b. Replacement of expansion joint filler in existing sidewalk, curb, gutter sections.
c. Striping and signage per approved plans, including fire lane on Pine Street
d. Proper backfill at back of sidewalk
e. 2:1 slope of soils at back of sidewalk ... this is not being met in at least one section near
the retaining wall along Pine Street. In addition, it appears as though the wall may not
have proper support.
f. Removal of construction debris/fencing
g. Removal of filter socks
8. Encroachments and Easements
a. To be recorded prior to final C of O
The actions or corrections indicated above are required to be corrected prior to final
engineering inspection.
