Re: Extension of Current Architectural Review Approval
Dear Ms. Machuga:
On behalf of BNSF Railway, I am request a one-year time extension of the Architectural Design
Boards,approval of the pending Replacement Office' Project. The Architectural Board met and "
voted to approve the design submittal on March 1, 2006.
This project is driveri by the proposed "Sounders" commuter rail project. To accommodate the
passenger service a second main line track will be installed parallel to the existing BNSF Railway
mainline in Edmonds. The project is being funding by the public, through the Sounder
Transport authority. Funding and final direction to proceed from. the Sounder Transport has
been deferred since the project was initially brought to the Edmonds Planning Division's
attention. There is no doubt that the project will occur, but the notice -to -proceed date isnot
clear.
BNSF Railway appreciates your understanding in granting this time extension and offers the
enclosed information:
• Completed Land Use Application form
• Copy of initial Architectural Design submittal
• List of adjacent property.:owners, as provided by the Snohomish County Assessor
• Check for $190.00
