SUBJECT: REVISION TO DESIGN REVIEW FOR BLD20151454
Dear Mr. Alibhai,
On behalf of the Planning Division, I reviewed the proposed revisions to Design Review that was
originally approved under the above -referenced building permit. The applicant wishes to modify the
mural design and add lighting to the rear (east -facing facade) of the metal storage building. It is
found that the proposed revision meets the building design criteria, per ECDC 16.60.030(D)(2)(e).
The following revisions are APPROVED:
1. Change the mural design from an image of a ferry to four (4) fir trees.
2. Add three (3) outdoor wall lights to the rear of the building. Lighting must meet the design
requirements established under 16.60.030(C)(5), which states:
"All lighting shall be shielded and directed downward and away from adjacent parcels. This
may be achieved through lower poles at the property lines and/or full "cut off" fixtures."
Once the above listed items have been completed, please contact the City of Edmonds for a final
inspection. Please note that the above referenced permit expires on November 3, 2018. Inspections
must occur or the permit must be renewed before the expiration date.
