This engineering report presents the final results of geotechnical inspections for
the multi -unit Michel Construction project at 618 Glen Street. These inspections were
required as a condition of permit by the City of Edmonds Testing Agreement dated
February 7, 2007.

INSPECTIONS:
This engineer has performed on -site geotechnical inspections as required by the
City of Edmonds. All geotechnical inspection items have now been properly completed,
including permanent erosion control measures, landscaping and rockeries.
Edmonds Inspection Items / Summary:
1 _ Excavation: Previously verified and approved.
2. Soil Bearing: Previously verified as to proper placement of structural fill and all
foundation elements properly placed.
3. Structural Fill: Previously inspected and approved.

4. Foundation Bearing: Previously inspected and approved.
5. Subsurface Drainage: Installed and approved.
6. Erosion Control: This engineer has performed periodic inspections, particularly
during periods of heavy rains and any snowfall events. No adverse erosional
impacts were observed. Contactor properly maintained siltation fencing, rocked
construction entrance, and confinement of all work within property limits.
Final inspection verified all permanent erosion control measures have been
properly completed: landscaping rockeries and landscaping (including beauty
bark placement, shrubbery, and lawn). There are no exposed earth surfaces.
All permanent erosion control measures have been properly completed and are
geotechnically approved.
SUMMARY:
• All geotechnical inspection items per City of Edmonds have been properly
completed, including all permanent erosion control measures and stabilization
rockery walls.
This report completes geotechnical inspection duties by D. Bruce, P.E.
