Final Site Insp from Engineer of Record.pdfDonna Breske & Associates Civil Engineering & Land Use Planning Date: March 16, 2018 John Dennison 206 883-0494 L1C# HOMECCM870N1 JFULNNISUN(wMSN.CUM Homecraft Construction Mgmt LLC Subject: Field Visit, Final Site Inspection Reference: Site Location: 94012341h St, Edmonds, WA 21 Ave A, Suite 4 Snohomish, WA 98290 Telephone (360) 294-8941 www.donnabreske.com This engineer visited the above referenced site on March 6, 2018 in order to inspect the final installation of the Storm Water Management and BMP's at the above referenced site location. The contractor John Dennison met me on site, and together we viewed the below. • BMPT5.13 has been implemented with topsoil spread and sod placed • The Bioretention cell is installed with the applicable mulch and plants • A washed rock interceptor trench is installed next to the driveway • The footing drains are routed to a yard drain with pump Per the site visit, this engineer observed evidence of puddling of storm water near the garage door and next to the driveway. In order to rectify this this engineer suggested the installation of a small yard basin and to route flows to the washed rock interceptor trench. The attached picture received by this engineer on 3-15-18 confirms installation as directed. The footing drains are routed to a yard basin with a pump to pump flow to a receiving area within a recently recorded easement on the property adjacent to the east. This is an acceptable method for footing drain storm water management. The bioretention cell installation is complete and includes mulch and plantings. A shallow level of stormwater was observed in the cell. Also fir tree needles were observed remaining at a previously higher waterline. The fir tree needles provide evidence of water level draw -down occurring. ENGINEER'S CONCLUSION: Based upon the installations observed, this engineer concludes all items are installed accordingly in order to achieve the desired goal of storm water management for the new construction.
