The following pre-application has been evaluated under the 2003 International and
Edmonds Community Development Codes. Additional accommodations may be
required as additional information is provided. Existing structure is fully fire sprinklered
& automatic fire alarmed. Building addition/remodel permit is approved outstanding.
1. Provide suite # for tenant space along with plan for building addressing.

2. Callout with 24 hour emergency phone
number for site. That person will have the responsibility for demolition and
construction safety while building is open to public and authority to stop work and
make proper notifications and corrections for any emergency, environmental, or
hazardous materials concern.
3. Sheet A0.4 Maintain temporary exits by extending fire alarm system, illuminating
temporary exits/egress paths, prohibiting construction storage, and minimizing
environmental hazards along entire path of egress. Exits are required on first floor
phasing plan placed a distance apart not less than one-half of the diagonal building
length.
4. Required (deferred) permits/submittals include:
4.1. Fire Sprinkler system modification permit
4.2. Fire Alarm modification permit
4.3. Fire Protection Footprint (example attached).
5. Changes in tenant space affect approved plans BLD20061195. Corrections here
may affect main building permit and plans must be corrected and approved
accordingly.
6. Sheet A0.3 & A2.1 Make clear TI affects “SECOND” floor plans.
7. Sheets A0.3, A2.1, A2.3 Call out all areas in permit and label all spaces called out,
including mechanical and electrical work.

8. Show portable fire extinguishers throughout and provide new FEs rated minimum
2A:10B:C.
9. Show exit light and emergency illumination locations.
10. Callout medical gas piping installation and requirement for special inspection.
