follow up email2.pdf You’re right, when I read that note on the plans I thought, “There’s no way he would have agreed to that!”. Attached are the site plan and elevation as originally submitted. As I noted on the review comment and the earlier email, as soon as the changes have been made and the revised plans have been submitted to a Permit Coordinator another review will be assigned. Once approved, the permit can be issued. Thanks for better helping us to understand the chain of authority and the reliability of city staff. Please send a copy of the drawing and we will revise this and bring it into compliance. Look forward to issuing the permit. In fact, plan review comments were sent to you on January 28, 2015 informing you that the permit could not be issued and why – see attached. Inspections are typically not performed on permits that have yet to be issued and there appears to be no record of an inspection request or inspection being made at that location. The Building Inspector was asked by the Assistant Fire Marshall and myself about the note on the plans regarding a prior approval being given for the window to be sealed, and he expressed no knowledge of either the conversation or the approval. The permit will be issued when a resubmittal in response to the review comment representing a generator installation in compliance with NFPA 37 and the manufacturer’s installation requirements is brought into the Permit Center, reviewed, and approved. Has the permit been issued? The day of the inspection we spoke with the inspector and confirmed that the generator location would be acceptable. We were given instructions from the inspector to caulk and permanently seal the garage window closed and he said he would accept this. Can you confirm that the permit will be issued?
