During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please redline plans or submit three (3) sets of revised
plans/documents with a written response to each of the items below to Marie Harrison.
City of Edmonds handouts and standard details can be referenced on the City website under
Development Services Department, Engineering Division.
GENERAL
1.Please submit a traffic control plan for review and approval. Individual plans shall be provided
for each location.
C3.01 Site Grading, Paving and Striping Plan
1.Construction Note #2 refers to an asphalt pavement detail on Sheet C5.02. However, C5.02
provides two separate details for asphalt repair. Please clarify which detail is to be used at
which locations.
2.The asphalt patch shown along the frontage of Station #2747-NB should be a minimum of 2 in
width. Please revise note.
C4.01 Utility Plan
1.The storm outfall pipe from the transit station to the catch basin in the right-of-way shall not
have any bends. Please revise.
C5.02 Civil Details
1.Please revise the curb and gutter detail to show a 24 wide curb and gutter versus 18.

2.Please revise the bus platform and roadway section notes as follows:
#2: Please clarify the curb height is 10, but the curb gutter section is 24.
#6: Sidewalk thickness shall be 5 ½.
#9: This note states 11 compacted depth HMA is not consistent with the asphalt repair detail
that calls for 4 HMA. Please refer to comment #1 under C3.01 and provide clarification.
C5.03 Civil Details
1.Please revise the Storm Drain Connections at Station Column detail to show storm drain pipe
connections at catch basins and not through the curb.
C5.04 Civil Details
1. Please revise the Cement Concrete Curb and Gutter at Catch Basin detail to show the 18 wide
concrete gutter intersecting perpendicular to the CB (no flare on the gutter pan).
A1.01 Platform Plan
1.A couple of the ramps from the transit platform to the sidewalk function as driveway curb ramps
as well. Please refer to City of Edmonds standard detail E2.15 for tactile warning and traction
grid placement within these ramps. Please incorporate ramp details into the plan set and
reference details on this plan sheet.
