Dear Scott and Kay:
The Board of Directors has asked me to advise you that the remodel requests you submitted
(copies enclosed) have been approved by the Board of Directors with the following
requirements. The installer of your flooring must also install sound attenuation between the
Hard Surface flooring and the underlying slab or structure as per the rules Section I-C (copy
enclosed). Please be sure to let Scott at the office know when the work is scheduled and when it
is completed. Also, out of courtesy to your neighbors, please post a notice of work for them as to
when the work will start and estimated time of completion. The Board has also asked me to
remind you that 70% of the flooring surface in a unit must be covered with area rugs, carpet or
furniture.
