RE:
Plan review for required trash enclosure
BLD 2010-0013 – Holy Rosary New Building, 760 Aloha St.
As a follow-up to our conversation of February 19, regarding the trash enclosure, we concluded that the
concrete curb stops shown on all east and west sides of the structure will be eliminated. Instead, appropriate
bumper boards will be placed centered at three and a half feet from the pavement.
Also it was recommended by the waste hauler to have the gates switched to chain-link construction with
inserted vinyl slats. This remains an option for the applicant.
Please indicate the appropriate devices and their locations, for keeping the gates in both the open and closed
positions (drop pins and sleeves or other). Gates must be able to open past 90 degrees and be secured in the
open position no less than 135 degrees.
