Dear Francis Hong,
As you're aware from your recent purchase of the subject property, the carport was
constructed under the authorization and requirements of ECDC 17.05, Reasonable
Accommodation. As the enclosed recorded covenant requires, the property owner shall
obtain a demolition permit and remove the carport within 3 months once it is no longer
needed for the specific accommodation. The sale of the property triggers that
requirement. It appears the property sale, as recorded at the Snohomish County
Assessors Office was March 28, 2019.
Please contact me by June 18, 2019 to respond to the letter and obtain your demolition
permit by June 28, 2019.
