RE: INCOMPLETE - AMENDMENT TO EXISTING LANDSCAPING PLAN (PLN20090047)
Dear 1r'w'Ir. Kirschner:
Thank you for submitting application materials in support of amending the existing landscaping plans for
your sites at 7620 and 7622 202"d Place SW. In looking at your information and the new noticing
requirements in the Edmonds Community Development Code (Ordinance 3736,
htt ://wwwv.ci.edtrrotids.wa,us/Ordinances/2009/0-d 3736. dt), I realized that this project is now
described as a Type II action and, as a result, public notice must be provided according to ECDC Chapter
20.03; it is still a staff decision, but notice is required. Please submit an Adjacent Property Owner's
(APO) list for those ,property owners within 300' of the project site.
Project applicants are now also responsible for providing the required notification. This means you will
have to mail notice to the adjacent property owners, post the site, and have notice published in the
Everett Herald. These are new procedures for the City and we as staff are just working out how to
implement them but I will put together an outline for providing the notice once I receive the APC fust.
If you have any questions, please contact rme at 425-771-0220 or via email at
clu s(cci,edmonds. a.us.
