IncompleteLetter.doc September 29, 2006 Stephen Waite Waite Architects 111 Elm Street Edmonds WA 98020 RE: REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TO COMPLETE YOUR ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN BOARD APPLICATION, FILE NUMBER ADB-2006-119 (AKA PLN20060119). Dear Mr. Waite: Thank you for submitting an application for design review through the Architectural Design Board (ADB) for the property located at 22304 Highway 99 (Kero’s Auto Brokers) in the General Commercial (CG2) zone. City staff has finished the check for completeness on your application, and it is determined that your application is INCOMPLETE until the following materials are submitted: 1. Preliminary Drainage Plan: Because the new building, concrete pad, and ramp create additional impervious surface area (2059 square feet), we need you to provide us with a preliminary drainage plan and show where you plan to connect to the city system. Please turn this plan into me at your earliest convenience and I will route it to the Engineering Division for review and contact Lyle Chrisman at 425.771.0220 if you have any questions. 2. Car Wash: Will any of the bays be used to wash vehicles? If so, you will be required to deal with pre- treatment. Please respond in writing. 3. Fire: Please show “approved firefighter access” on the site plan – clear areas kept to pull hose to the buildings. The purpose of “approved firefighter access” will be to assure that the Fire Department does not encounter a parking lot to wade through in an emergency. Please contact John Westfall at 425.771.0213 if you have any questions. Please respond at your earliest convenience so that your application may be processed in an expedient manner. Thank you for your interest in land use and development in Edmonds. If you have any questions about the City’s application review process and/or the schedule for your application, please contact me at 425.771.0220, extension 1778. Sincerely, CITY OF EDMONDS Gina Coccia, Planner CC: File ADB-2006-119 (AKA PLN20060119) Lyle Chrisman, Engineering Program Manager John Westfall, Fire Marshal
