Please address the following issues.
1.Provide an as-built of the site.
2.Provide proof of final approval for the relocation of the fire hydrant from Olympic View Water
& Sewer District.
3.Provide asoils ticket forthe soils used within the raingarden.
4.Provide receipts and a list of vegetation planted within the raingardens.
5.Raingarden #1, the elevationof CB#3 andbeehive rimsits above the raingardens embankment.
According to plans the beehive should sit below the embankment allowing for overflow to enter
the beehive and flow to theonsite conveyance.Correct the embankment at the northwest corner
such that the overflow will enter the beehive.
6.Raingarden #2, the elevation of CB#8beehive rim appears to sit above the surrounding
embankment, which would allow stormwater to flow beyond the raingarden bypassing the
overflow. Please correct as needed as shown on plans.
7.CB#8’sbeehive rimappears to be close in elevation to the low point (LP) at the reduced curb
within the drive aisle just south of Raingarden #2. Plans call for 6”of separation in elevation.
The as-builts should confirm elevations.
8.Cut allexposed cleanoutsso they are 2” above gradeas per plans.
9.Our records indicate that none of the storm conveyance pipe installed was inspected by the city.
a.)If special inspections were done, please provide acopy of the report. Things that need tobe
verified are pipe material, depths & discharge points.
b.) A water test will need to be performed to confirm storm conveyance pipes are connected as
per plans.
10.Plans indicate that CB#3 within raingarden #1 is to connect to existing CB#4. Upon inspection
there was no new storm lines connected to CB#4.A water test will need to be performed to
verify Raingarden #1 is connectedto the onsite conveyance system.
11.Please confirm elevations within yard drain #1 are providing proper flow to the raingarden.
Upon field inspection it appears that the east IE is lowerthan the south and west IEs.The as-
builtshould confirm elevations.
12.Needto run water to test and confirm 6” storm water drain line from play area is connected to
yard drain #1 south of raingarden#1.
13.The wood platform within the trash enclosurewas reported to restrict movement of the trash
bins. Please contact Republic Services to make any modifications they may require.
